Little Blue Button Stamps - September Digi Release

Here today to share an amazing digi image from Little Blue Button Stamps, Solo Charlie.

I printed out this image on some kraft cardstock and colored it using Prismacolor pencils.  It was such a fun image to create a birthday card.  I added a sentiment from Lawn Fawn and added the speech bubble with a heart that was colored with a silver wink of stella glitter brush pen.

This image is available now over at Little Blue Button Stamps.  Please also check out the blog for more great digi images released for September, you won't want to miss out.

Have a great day....and create something fun.

Oh Happy Day........from Little Blue Button Stamps

Hi there.....

Here today with another amazing image from Little Blue Button Stamps, called Wishing Charlie.

I know I might have mentioned before, but I feel like I can never have enough birthday cards, so I decided to make another using this image....it could also be used to adorn so many other great things for a birthday, invitations, a gift bag and so much more.

I watercolored this image using distress markers and added some stickles and wink of stella glitter brush pens to make her sparkle a little.

I also decided to use the falling hearts stencil from SSS, with some embossing paste and then dusted it with some pink glitter embossing powder.

This digi stamp set is so great because it comes with some great accessories, the candle, a Happy Birthday banner flag and also a set of numbers to add some great detail.

Thanks for reading through and looking at my creation, hope you enjoyed.

Kith and Kin Stamps....Ella Ballerina

Hi there.....here again with a design team post for Kith and Kin Stamps using the great Ella Ballerina image.

So I have to say that although I may have not done this image justice with my coloring, I feel like it still turned out pretty good.

So I have been trying out different watercolor papers, just for my own knowledge and this one....well you can see it took the bottom of the list.  Just wasn't good at blending and the ink did bleed when I put water on it....so I had to be extra careful and go really light on the color.

But I figured I would pop her up on a card using this speech bubble die from Lawn Fawn.  Also I added some sequins to add a little sparkle and the Happy Birthday die to just finish off the sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed taking a peek.  Head on over to Kith and Kin Stamps for this and so many other great images.

Thanks for stopping by.

Snap! It's you're birthday.......

Hello all....wanted to share with you a great side step card that I made using the Little Blue Button Stamp: Snap!

This is my first side step card, I got the instructions from Sari Hänninen on YouTube, she has a best videos, here is the video for the side step instructions: https://www.youtube.com/user/thenorsugirl

Ok, so here is my card, I used lots of black, purple and teal, thought it was perfect with the polaroid look.

I colored this image up with prismacolor pencils using gamsol to blend them out.  It was lots of fun creating this, I just love the colors.

I also colored the polaroid camera with prismacolor pencils, just black really and blended it out using gamsol.  Then had to add a little stickles and some glossy accents to the flash and the lense to make it look a little more real.

You can see from the side view how the steps exaggerate the card and really allow the embellishments to stand out.

Hope you enjoyed this, I have the list of supplies used below and if you have any question about what I used or techniques, feel free to leave a comment below.
