Here is the project I made using the Miss Lilly Tea, she is just adorable and I decided to alter a gift box to put some tea and cookies in for a friend.

For the image, I printed it out on some newsprint patterned paper and colored her using prismacolor pencils and blended them with gamsol and blending stumps.

It was a little different technique to put her on this paper, but I thought with the tea theme it was kind of fitting.

The card I used was cut out using my cricut (elegant edges) cartridge.  For the background fan, I used a TCW stencil and colored it with distress inks.

The flourish die cuts are from MFT and the tea bag is from a La La Land Crafts Tea Time set.

To distress the box a little I painted on some distress paint and then for the sentiment, it was a stamp I bought at Michael's (Mary Engelbreit) and thought it was so perfect for this project.

I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog, if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a comment below.

Have a great times on this blog hop and head on over to Olga's youtube channel to check out her project, then the final stop at the LBBS blog to leave a comment for a chance to win some great prizes.

Happy Hopping........and Spring. =)

TAWS Just Keep Swimming.........

Hello.....

Today I wanted to show one of my submissions to The Alley Way Stamps DT call.

I found this awesome digi stamp within the freebies on their blog and just had to create something using the fish collage 'Just Keep Swimming'.

Such a cute image, I decided to paper piece it and add a little shading with my prismacolor pencils.  I first printed out this image on four different sheets, then cut out each of the fish and glued them down in place.

Once I finished adhering the the fish, I put the blue one up on some foam adhesives to make that one stand out a little.  I then adding the shading and blended it out with some gamsol and blending sticks.

I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Marker to all of the water bubbles and the blue fish, then I added some Glossy Accents to each of the bubbles.

I cut down some wave pattern paper and adhered with some more foam adhesives and tied on some baker's twin in Marigold into a bow.

On the inside of the card, I added three little blue fish to coordinate with the front of the card and that was it.

Hope you enjoy this card, it was lots of fun to make.

Have a great weekend.

Snap! It's you're birthday.......

Hello all....wanted to share with you a great side step card that I made using the Little Blue Button Stamp: Snap!

This is my first side step card, I got the instructions from Sari Hänninen on YouTube, she has a best videos, here is the video for the side step instructions: https://www.youtube.com/user/thenorsugirl

Ok, so here is my card, I used lots of black, purple and teal, thought it was perfect with the polaroid look.

I colored this image up with prismacolor pencils using gamsol to blend them out.  It was lots of fun creating this, I just love the colors.

I also colored the polaroid camera with prismacolor pencils, just black really and blended it out using gamsol.  Then had to add a little stickles and some glossy accents to the flash and the lense to make it look a little more real.

You can see from the side view how the steps exaggerate the card and really allow the embellishments to stand out.

Hope you enjoyed this, I have the list of supplies used below and if you have any question about what I used or techniques, feel free to leave a comment below.

Don't miss out on this great image from Little Blue Button Stamps, head over there and check out some great new digital stamps.

Enjoy!

An easter gift....Easter Egg Sunny

Hi all, wanted to share another design team project for Little Blue Button Stamps.  I chose Easter Egg Sunny and decided to make a gift bag with it.

I colored Sunny up with copics and cut him out.  I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the egg, then added glossy accents to make it stand out a little.

For the bunny and eggs, I used the Lawn Fawn Happy Easter set, along with the sentiment, Hoppy Easter.

I just loved creating this project using this image from Little Blue Button Stamps, head on over to their site and purchase this image before easter and color it up for a sweet little boy.

Thanks for looking and enjoy.
