A safe harbor......

Hi there,

Gina here today to share a card I made using the Couple in Love image from Whimsy Stamps.  Such a fun card to watercolor, the perfect scenery to blend colors together.

I watercolored this image using both distress markers and Derwent inktense pencils.  I tried using a new technique to not get the colors to bleed, by heat setting each area once I completed it.  Using the inktense pencils, once they dry they are permanent, which makes it a lot easier to not allow bleeding between the different areas.

Hope you like this card, please go take a look over at Whimsy Stampsfor this and other great images.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Have a great day. =)

Hello......autumn flowers

Hi there....

Here today to share an card using the Candy Shoppe image from Whimsy Stamps, colored up with autumn colors.

I used colored pencils to color in the flowers and then watercolored the background.

I used a few different die cuts from Mama Elephant to layer the image and then die cut the hello from orange glitter foam to give the sentiment a little pop.

Such a fun image to color and play with, hope you enjoyed looking.

Head on over to Whimsy Stamps for this and lot of other great images.

Have a great day.

Halloween Treat Bag

Here to share another Halloween project featuring the Purr-fect Pumpkin image from Whimsy Stamps.

I colored this image using prismacolor pencils, then cut it out and added it to the top of this treat bag.  The treat bag was cut out using the We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board.

I added some embellishments using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card, added some bat dies from Memory Box and some ribbon to close the bag.

This treat bag project was super easy to put together and perfect for kids class treats or just little Halloween gifts to give to friends.

If you love this project head on over to Whimsy Stamps for this and other great images just released this month.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

A look back at August creations for Kith and Kin

Hi there.....

Here today to share some creations I have made for Kith and Kin Stamp company.

Since it's still summer here in the Pacific Northwest of the US, I have created summer cards....although with school right around the corner next week, soon the season will change here too.

The first card I made using Rory with Kitty was so fun to make a camping theme.

For my second card, I chose to use Sandcastles Robbie and Rose.  I watercolored the image to give it a soft beachy feel.....I loved how it turned out.

Hope you enjoyed these creations, head on over to Kith and Kin Stamp Co and join in on all the fun creations on facebook created by the design team members.

Have a great day.

Such a fun project and something a little different to give with a sweet gift.

A little note.....

Hi there..

Here to share a little card that I made for my daughter to put in her lunchbox for her first day back to school.

I used the sweeet image from Little Blue Button Stamps.

I made this into a little bigger than a 3x4 card and watercolored the image using distress markers.

I stamped the sentiments from the the Lil' Hoot set from Hero Arts.

Thought this would be just a perfect little card to let her know how proud I am of her.

Thanks for letting me share and please go check out Little Blue Button Stamps for this and some other great digital stamps for all of your crafty projects.

Hello Friend.......

Hi There.....

Wanted to share a card I made for Little Blue Button Stamps, using the adorable Ladybug Sophie, that was released this month.  Head on over to Little Blue Button Stamps for this and many other great digi stamps.

I watercolored this image using distress markers and cut out the image with a stitched rectangle die from Mama Elephant. I then added the two cloud punches with a sentiment from Paper Smooches.

Since this was a single layer card, I decided to add some foam adhesive to the back of the image to give it some dimension before mounting it to a yellow card base.

Hope you enjoyed checking this out.....please head over to the blog for this and lots of other great ideas using Little Blue Button images.

Have a great day.

Fall.....a "Season of Love"

Wanted to share a great new stamp set Season of Love available over at CC Designs Stamps.

It's hard to believe that fall is right around the corner here in the Pacific Northwest....but eventually back to school and fall time approaches, so wanted to make a thank you card using this great set.

This set comes with some great accessories and perfect sentiments for the Fall.

I colored it using copics and paper-pieced the dress to add a little something extra.

To help hide my not so great cutting job, I went around the edge of the image with a black marker, thought helped to enhance this image even more.

Hope you enjoy this creation, please head on over to the Little Blue Button blog for some more great projects from our design team.

Hope you have a great day.

Thank you Teacher......

Hi there.....

Since it is still summer here in Seattle, it's hard to imagine that back to school is only a little over a month away.

That's why I was so excited to use this new image from Little Blue Button Stamps, Teacher Charlie.

I am always in need of great thank you cards for our amazing teachers.

I colored the image using prismacolor pencils and gamsol to blend it out.  I inked around the edges of most all of the die cuts to give it a little more distressed look.

For the inside I just cut a strip of patterned chalkboard paper and stamped a thank you sentiment in white pigment ink.

Thanks for taking a look, hope you enjoyed.

Head on over to the Little Blue Button Stamps store to get this new digi stamp just released for August 2014.
